Frequently Asked Questions

Is there a group rate?

Elevate Kidmin is designed with volunteers in mind. For that reason, the price is as affordable as we can possibly make it in order to allow as many people as possible to attend. In essence, the entire conference is priced as a group rate. If you’re a church leader and your church would like to offset some of the cost for your volunteers, see the next question.

Can churches absorb a portion of the cost for their volunteers?

Absolutely. Your church can register and pay for them individually or we can give you a group code allowing them to register on their own at a rate you set, with the church covering the balance. Email us at to get more information.

How late can I register?

Registration closes March 5, 2017 at midnight eastern time.

Can churches register all of their volunteers at once or can groups of people register together?

Volunteers must register individually because they will choose their breakouts during the registration process.

Is there a discount for students?

We love student volunteers, and we want to do everything possible to help them attend. In order to help, every student volunteer (6th-12th grade) can select the “Student Ticket” when registering in order to receive a discounted price. This discounted price will remain the same throughout registration.

Is lunch provided?

Lunch will be provided and is included in the cost of registration.

How many breakouts can I choose?

There will be 3 breakout sessions at Elevate Kidmin. You may choose one breakout per session (3 total). See the suggested tracks for suggestions on breakouts relevant to your role. All breakouts fit into one of our key strategic areas:

  • Increasing your skill
  • Encouraging your heart
  • Developing your ministry
What is the primary focus of this event? Is it only helpful for certain volunteer or leadership roles?

Elevate Kidmin is designed for everyone who leads or serves in children’s ministry. No matter what role you serve in, there is specific content relevant to your role and your ministry area.

Main session gatherings will encourage you in what you are doing and emphasize the significant impact you are having on the next generation.

What is the benefit of one large-scale training as opposed to individual training in my church?

Elevate Kidmin is about bringing multiple churches together and it allows individuals to spend time with fellow volunteers, meet people from other churches, and learn from one another. Church staff get to experience the event with their team, but everyone grows and learns from other leaders as well.

Breakout speakers are coming from multiple churches, contexts, and backgrounds to offer insights on what they have learned doing ministry, answer questions, and invite you to share your experiences with each other. Another benefit of Elevate Kidmin is having breakouts designed for every children’s ministry volunteer role, which is difficult for church leaders to offer to their teams in one event.

What is the best way to promote this event to my volunteers?

We are offering a promotion kit for church leaders, complete with graphics, emails, social media posts, and mailers. Email for more information about this kit.

Is Elevate Kidmin specific to a church denomination?

No, Elevate Kidmin is put on by a network of churches from a variety of denominations, affiliations, and contexts. It is for everyone who wants to grow as a kidmin leader and develop their ministry so that more kids can come to know Jesus.

Your #kidmin grows on Sunday because your leaders grow on Saturday
